(a) Ship suffered a catastrophic failure of Antimatter Containment Field as a result of a targeted ambush and attack which in turn caused a detonation of Warp Core. This resulted in absolute destruction of space frame.

(c) Warp Core detonation vaporized all organic matter within a 5Km radius of ship. While it can be assumed that those listed here are deceased, no body was present for identification, therefore these are listed as MIA until judged otherwise by Starfleet Command.
