Hullo, Argo. Happy July.
Just a few announcements/notices for all of you.
First, we're doing inactivity sweeps/checks on the first of every month now, so don't be alarmed if you see a couple names disappear from the roster. Because this is going to be a regular occurrence on a predictable day (first of the month), we will not be alerting people ahead of time that it's going to happen. If you happen to be one of the people who is reading this (last) Argo mail and you appear to no longer be in fleet, please feel free to contact one of the admins to discuss re-admittance if you want to come back.
Second, it's been a while since the Delta Recruits event ended, so we're going to request that those of you who got an alt in during the event with an abbreviated alt application should take some time in the coming month to finish it, so we can promote your alt to full Member. At the end of the month, we'll be taking stock of any remaining Delta alts that don't have character concepts and either pestering you to finish the concept or ask you to move them out to some non-RP fleet to take up space. (They can come back when you've got an idea, of course.)
Finally, most recently we passed a week chock full of planned member events, which was frankly totally awesome to see! Since so many events have been happening, I wanted to take the opportunity to therefore remind everyone to remember some basic RP event etiquette.

As always, RL comes first in Argo, but it's important to remember that the people you're RPing with also deserve to have their events run without excessive interruption and delay.
If you're planning to attend an event, please be on time!
If you're arriving at an event late, please don't demand explanations of what's-going-on since the event host is probably swamped trying to get their event going. Watch for your opportunity to join and try to be flexible with what you need to know, or whisper one of the other event participants to get caught up.
If you're attending an event and something comes up in RL that requires your attention, please consider carefully whether or not your stepping away will hold up the rest of the event and if it is, please give notice to everyone (or at least the event host) to continue without you.
Finally, if you're attending someone else's event, don't hijack it! Some questions about what will happen and whether or not it's the 'right' course of action are okay, but keep in mind that the event host has probably already planned out at least some of what will happen and if you derail those plans in the briefing, you won't have an event to play!
For more event etiquette tips, I refer you to Skyler's dated but still relevant guide here.
