Jizgi
The Jizgii are small, white, bat-like creatures, native to the snowy forested planet Croovis III. First surveyed in 2401, the population has dwindled due to predatory attacks and illegal trade, as profiteers use their wings for charms and medicine, as well as selling them as pets.
Appearance and Biology
The Jizgii are small, ranging from 10 to 100 cm in length. Their bodies are covered in white fur to keep them warm and hide them from predators in their native snowy environment. Their wingspan can range from 30 to 40 cm in length. These wings fold into the side of their bodies when not in flight. They are highly sensitive to noise and are able to pick up the sound of movement from a great distance away. Whilst in the air, they are very quick.
The Jizgii are omnivores.
