Kelterre Sector

Kelterre Sector, General Area

U.S.S. Bark was attacked by a officer-eating species known as Zolesh. Reporting officer recommended all vessels avoid the area where the Bark was infected by Zolesh.

System K-2341a, Kelterre Sector

A distress call was received by the USS Kwango while attempting to rescue civilian vessel USS Thunder & Lightning. USS Kwango destroyed, civilian vessel discovered sabotaged, with crew neutralized in the Brig. Evidence suggests larger ongoing terrorist attacks on the Federation. Believed to be related to attack on Federation Communication Post Kelterre-017.

Deep Space, Outside the Renovaman Cluster, Kelterre Sector

Xedi probes were discovered by the U.S.S. Shackleton. Xedi government claims to not recognize make or model, with the design being foreign to them.

Federation Communication Post Kelterre-017, Kelterre Sector

An attack on a Federation Communication Post left the structure intact but without any crew. Investigators believe attacks related to Mathias Gregorie.

Kelterre II

Constructs dubbed ‘Oribots’ artificially inserted into planet’s ocean by an unknown power. Inquiries into constructs themselves should be directed towards AARs.

Donatu Sector

Vlach IV (A planet of the Gad Faction), Liyan Cluster, Donatu Sector

Tense stand-off occurred between Romulan Imperial proxy and Republic/Federation proxy, involving both Romulan Imperial vessels and U.S.S. Pegasus. Situation de-escalated but political lines remained drawn.

Ba’aja Sector

Delmak System, Ba’aja Sector

U.S.S. Pegasus made first contact in several centuries with Sokaarians. Sokaarians requested private meeting with Ship CO. This meeting was deceit orchestrated by Sokaarians to insert themselves, who are apparently parasites in nature, into the Captain and seize control of his mind and body. System placed under quarantine once Sokaarian was removed from Nimitz. Ambassador Perim will not attempt further diplomatic overtures until situation has changed. The system remains under quarantine.

Doza Sector

Kingdom of Parin, Doza Sector

Starfleet Officers engaged in diplomatic talks with Parin government over rights to excavate a tomb. Treaty was signed by Captain Nimitz, giving rights to Starfleet to excavate tomb in exchange for Parin scientists travelling to the Federation and learning from us. Full treaty can be found in Parin database entry.

Aldebaran Sector

Aldebaran Sector, General Area

Hostile stand-off with Xedi vessel. Weapons and shields not in-line with current Xedi technology. Government contacted on matter. Xedi ship eventually became compliant after brief exchange of fire. Reporting officer recommends looking into source of Xedi weaponry and diplomatic contact with Xedi government.

PATROLS

The 38th Fleet is responsible for several sectors on the spinward edge of Federation space. Patrol efforts within current Federation borders encompass routes spanning three sectors. Frontier patrols are focused to a single sector to allow for the increased demands on vessels operating in areas with limited support. Each route carries a unique set of challenges, and Captains are expected to be fully briefed on recent events in their patrol areas before embarking.

As common sense would dictate, these orders contain planned ship movement and as such should not be publicly discussed.

(( Note: The following 'patrol routes' and all others referenced in this thread are intended only as potential kickstarters for roleplay, and do not constrain your other roleplay in any way. Your captain can complete them entirely off-screen if desired, thus they have no bearing on whether you can take part in or start other events with your vessel. ))

PATROL ROUTES

ALDEBARAN RISIAN KASSAE PATROL ROUTE
The Aldebaran Risa Kassae Patrol Route, or A.R.K. will depart Deep Space 13 moving galactic north into the Risa sector before heading East to Kassae before returning to Deep Space 13. There are reports of pirate activity operating within all sectors however there is a highlight of activity within and near the Briar Patch.

DOZA BORETH PATROL ROUTE
The Doza Boreth Patrol Route, or D.B. will depart Deep Space 13 guiding down to the Doza system, care will be taken as ships then navigate across the Ba'aja sector and into the Boreth. Captains should take extreme care not to cross into Klingon Empire Space. Elements from the KDF may pace starfleet ships along the Empire Border. Hostile action should not be taken unless fired upon. Immediate report will be required.

DOZA PATROL ROUTE
The Doza Patrol Route departs Deep Space 13 heading Galactic Southwest into the Doza Sector. Exact patrol routes will be to the discretion of the captain. The Doza sector continues to have several secrets not yet uncovered by the 38th yet. Exploration will be a large part of this patrol route.

AT NO POINT WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL WILL SHIPS CROSS INTO THE AZEDI EXCLUSIONARY ZONE.

KELTERRE PATROL ROUTE
The Kelterre Patrol Route departs Deep Space 13 moving galactic west. Exact patrol routes will be to the discretion of the captain. There are reports of increased pirate attacks on civilian shipping convoys. This should be a priority, I would also encourage ship captains to perform good nature status checks on systems within the sector.

AT NO POINT WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL WILL SHIPS CROSS INTO THE AZEDI EXCLUSIONARY ZONE.

AZEDI EXCLUSIONARY ZONE PATROL ROUTE
The Azedi Exclusionary Zone Patrol, or A.E.Z. departs Deep Space 13 heading Galactic west to the marked exclusion zone. Ships will then commence a patrol along the designated border moving Galactic North and South. It is EXTREMELY vital that ships do not cross the threshold. Encourage any wayward ship to redirect away from Azedi space and immediately report any activity.

AT NO POINT WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL WILL SHIPS CROSS INTO THE AZEDI EXCLUSIONARY ZONE.

RESERVE ASSIGNMENT
Ships assigned to the reserve grouping are stationed at Deep Space 13 during which time they will fill in holes in patrol routes, receive short term maintenance, act as additional station defense, and perform local patrols. These ships may be tapped for localized operations at any given time.

Please check to ensure you're following the updated patrol routes.
