Admiral,
it is a pleasure to have you in charge of the 38th. I've heard only good things about your life as officer and commander.

Currently, the R.R.W. is operational. We are deployed in the nearby sector, prevalently for patrol and, in case, rescue mission. We are testing different system aboard the ship, primarily our offensive capacity and our capacity to sustain long mission in space without refuel and resupply. We will continue to perform our tests and patrol until next month. In any case, we will be in touch with periodically reports and be available in case of emergency.

The USS Della Torre currently sits poised on the edge of the Briar Patch in Sector 441 along with the USS Angelfalls from the Corps Of Engineers, the CoE are attempting to engage in the possibility of creating a long range communication hub here that may be manned. My team and I are working along side the CoE to finalise the research that was started a few years ago from the aspect of continued impact of manning such a station and as such the Della Torre will not be back to DS13 in the immediate future.

I will of course send Captain Timoreev an update once we are complete here and heading home.

Vice Admiral,

The U.S.S. William Ockham is currently at operational status; completing her patrols as directed in addition to conducting scientific research continuously in her various laboratories. It has been a number of years since her last refit, however. This mostly has been evidenced in several small, solvable problems in a variety of instances.

For example, tactical reports that there is a minor hitch within the port most phaser bank where a few of the cells do not appear to be reaching optimal charge. Otherwise, tactical reports combat readiness for what is expected of an Intrepid-class vessel.

Also, our laboratories are operational, minus an imaging issue with astrometrics which seems to have been narrowed down to a short in the EPS grid. Aside from that technical issue, research is going well. The most advanced research project involves an oral contraceptive for Cardassian voles in edible "chow" form. We are in Phase III and have promising results in testing. Our Airponics research involving alternative fertilizers has increased growth rates up to 0.5%. Finally, Molecular Effects of Extreme Gravimetric Forces on Alloy in only in the preliminary phase and data is not yet ready.

Operations and Engineering report their readiness as well, but also indicate minor, variable difficulties. Engineering is kept on it's toes. However, we are keeping up with the small difficulties as they come and they are not causing us to fail in functionality.

In summation--while a chance for a good once-over would be appreciated, it has not yet reached a critical point. The Ockham is operational.

Pursuant to orders received on Stardate 94155.8 the RRW Llairhi is assigned to starbase defense and remains on patrol of DS13's outer perimeter. Additional duties, such as assistance with the management and inspection of civilian traffic, are carried out as needed. All systems are operating at peak efficiency.

Vice Admiral,

The USS Shinano is currently on reserve along with the rest of the Gemini Squadron, since being placed on reserve we have taken the time to sort out a few engineering issues with our hangar bays and are now comfortably running at full efficiency.

The only concern I currently have is the rather high ratio of Junior officers to Senior ones since our participation in pushing back an incursion by the Terran Empire. While this doesn't hamper our effectiveness too much it does mean a higher amount of my crew lack a decent amount of experience, most notably our pilots. With time and plenty of training I am sure this could be fixed but I believe it is something I needed to write into this report

Barring this issue the Shinano is fully operational and ready to be deployed when and where she is needed
