Good Evening,
I hope you are all having a joyous festive period.
I am writing to inform you that I shall be conducting meetings with all the Commanding Officers of the fleet in the following year. The purpose of this meeting shall be twofold; it will serve as an opportunity for me to meet all the ship commanders as well as providing you with an opportunity to meet me, if you have not already done so.
Whilst this will be a formal chat where I will question you about your ships and your current mission status, please do not feel as if you have to overly prepare; it will be more a discussion instead of an interview.
Whilst it would be preferable to meet face to face, I understand circumstances may not permit this; we may converse over subspace if need be.
I wish you all a good new year, and I look forward to meeting with you in 2420.
