Admirals, upon completing my review of the loss of the USS Defender with the reports filed, the collected data, and interviews with members present on Stardate 100502.7.
It is my conclusion that the loss of the USS Defender was not the result of negligence, or failure on part of Captain Sh’ow or Captain Tyrstoc.
At this time, I do not find any reason to recommend further investigation into the actions of Captain H’Ltol Sh’ow or his crew. I have attached recordings of my interviews with the Commanders present on the mission for your own determination.
It is however my recommendation that we review our defenses for engagement with Azedi vessels, I also recommend we revise our recommendation for operation within former Confederacy territory in a state of higher alerts.
