I hope you are well.
I have recently been invited to a medical conference on Betazed. I plan on attending, but I feel like this may be a good opportunity for you both to continue your professional medical development.
As you know, medical conferences are often held to allow medical professionals and researchers to present their latest research and findings. For you, Jodi, it would do well to get to understand new medical procedures that you can use to assist doctors and employ in your own day to day processes. For you, Veneela, it would be good to get to know what areas of medical research are the most lively, and for you to get an idea of which area you would like to specialise in.
For the both of you, it will also serve as a good opportunity to meet colleagues and peers, both in Starfleet and in civilian life. Building these personal contacts is vital for both of your continued developments.
