Greetings Commander,

I wanted to send my thanks for the warm welcome to the station during the orientation tour. I know a station XO must have many responsibilities so I appreciate you taking the time to help get me settled in and up to speed.

I have sent along a request to CMDR Mandra for an introduction meeting, per your recommendation. Hopefully I should hear back soon and will be able to start making myself an asset to the station in short order.

I’ll sign it off there as I still have plenty to familiarize myself with in regards to the station and its regular operations.
