For a brief moment, Katriel reflected on the unexpected results of the last session of the crew's mental defense lessons. There was an unmistakable streak of chagrin among a number of the officers, both on board and off, at the rumors of the captain's symbiont potentially waking. But who could deny the captain her opportunity to potentially fulfill her culture's most significant achievement?
Lips pursed as she adamantly resigned herself to not-thinking-about-it, the counselor keyed up her prepared records and sent them on their way.
