Mobilization orders have come down from Starfleet Command and the 38th Fleet has been ordered to rotate into the Alpha Quadrant to assist in the ongoing conflict with the hur'q. To meet these ends, 38th Command will be rapidly organizing a task-force and deploying it at the onset of Alpha Shift, Stardate 94516.1.
This task-force's overall mission objectives in the quadrant are to support, reinforce and relieve Starfleet assets currently in service, as well as lending aid to the worlds affected by the hur'q attacks.
Available vessels are urged to contact the Rear Admiral's office for assignment, officers on Deep Space 13 are requested to speak with their department head for assignment to the U.S.S. Atlantis.

I trust Captain Thiessen apprised you earlier on the possibility of detached service on the U.S.S. Atlantis, and that work has begun already on preparations for departure. If it has been determined then I'll need final details on who will be assuming Command of Deep Space 13 and which one of you will be commanding the Atlantis. If it has not been determined, then I would request that Captain Thiessen remain behind and in command of Deep Space 13, provided that you are comfortable enough with commanding the ship. Mission details may range from relief and science to combat.
Additionally, I will be going with the task-force and would like to request quarters and transport to Deep Space 9 aboard the U.S.S. Atlantis, any standard quarters will do the trick.

Message received and acknowledged. I began preparing Atlantis for service earlier today pursuant to Captain Thiessen's informing me that these orders would be forthcoming from Command.
I will be in command of Atlantis, and Captain Thiessen will remain aboard Deep Space 13. Consequently, I will be departing presently for Atlantis to oversee her preparation there, and to make other arrangements as are necessary on board.
Additionally, I will see that your quarters are prepared for the trip to Deep Space 9. If you intend to hoist your flag aboard Atlantis for the local command of the task-force, inform me and I will ensure that the quarters take into account a longer-term stay aboard ship, and any particular operational needs.

The USS Victory was already involved in pre-deployment preparations and ready to be part of this operation. Further as a Taskforce was already in planning stages and several ships in Taurus Squadron have already made preparations to depart for the Alpha Quadrant to the designated area.

Captain,
I was aware of those ships in Taurus assigned to the San-Francisco task force, however the formation of this task force is brought on by Starfleet Command. Seeing as how both serve largely the same purpose there's no reason for the two task forces to not link up, provided that both accomplish their goals.
Feel free to bring out the San-Francisco task force at a later time if you need more time to prepare. However this task force ordered by command will be departing at alpha shift.

The USS North Star is currently held up with a deflector array issue and a failure of the secondary communications array. As soon as the deflector array is repaired we'll set course for DS9 and repair the secondary communications array en-route.
Tell us where you want us. North Star might be an elderly cruiser, but we want into the fight!

The Attar just came back at DS13 after a brief patrol. Since replenishmet and maintenance have been completed ahead of schedule, I would like to volunteer my ship for the Task Force assembled in defence of DS9.
Also, I have no objections to Capt. Rosewood joining the Task Force as well.
