Position Overview: The Officer Exchange Program is seeking Starfleet Officers wishing to explore new ideas and foreign environments. A wide array of specializations and fields are accepted, including but not limited to: tactical, engineering, science, and medical.

Represent Starfleet’s professionalism and dedication to working hand-in-hand with our allies by serving aboard a Romulan Warbird and be exposed to new cultures and ideas.

Position Description

Criminal Investigations Officer

Reports To

The Criminal Investigations Officer will report to Detective Provenza, Jackson.

Position Overview

As the Criminal Investigations Officer, you will be involved in securing and protecting crime scenes, and collecting evidence from crime scenes, post-mortems and other incidents, such as fires and suspicious deaths.

Criminal Investigations Officers do not work the shift system and they are often required to work long and irregular hours. A major inquiry can demand of CI officers working every hour of the day. The work is often slow and requires great patience as well as good memory and attention to detail.

You’ll also be responsible for processing and categorising evidence so that it can be used in criminal investigations. This might include gathering photographic evidence or physical samples from the scene, such as weapons, fingerprints, biological or digital evidence.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Respond to calls from the greater Security Department to attend crime scenes
  • Preserve a crime scene so that evidence is accurate and doesn’t become contaminated
    • Take a lead in finding evidence that may support a later criminal case
    • Holograph and document the incident you’re attending
    • Use scientific methods to gather biological evidence
  • Work closely and liaise with other Starfleet teams - including the Science and the Operations Departments, and other organisations such as the Federation Security Agency as necessary
  • Attend courts to give evidence as part of a trial process

Position Overview

The Chief Tactical Officer role aboard a Lexington class Starship, U.S.S. October. Standard duties to include ensuring the safety of ship, crew and any guests. Tactical tasks will include protection of the vessel from external threats, and providing insight in such situations to the October command staff.

While day to day handling of internal security will fall to another designated officer, the Chief Tactical Officer will be expected to remain appraised of shipboard security tasks, including but not limited to, regular patrols, cargo inspections and providing assistance to away teams when required.

This position is open to members of the October crew, and 38th Fleet Staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and work well utilising their skills in a breadth of situations.
The ideal candidate will have existing experience coordinating and supporting a security department of minimum 400 persons.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience to ensure the safety of the October and her crew from threats both external and internal.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Starfleet Tactical Systems and their Operational Procedures, foreign system knowledge is necessary to this role.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required and each candidate will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

At least three of the following courses from Starfleet Academy; TAC175: Combat, Phasers and Photon Torpedoes, TAC210: Combat, Marksmanship, TAC250: Combat, Shuttles and Runabouts, TAC270: Combat, Major Starships.

Responsibilities and Duties

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and work well leading a medium to large sized medical team of multiple disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have existing experience coordinating and supporting a medical department of 450 persons.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience to ensure the health and wellbeing of the October crew and any guests aboard.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Starfleet Medical applications and procedures, foreign medical knowledge is necessary to this role.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required and each candidate will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Must have understanding of foreign engineering equipment. In particular, Warp-based propulsion systems utilized by the UNITED FEDERATION OF PLANETS, KLINGON EMPIRE, and CARDASSIAN UNION.

THE RRW TEBOK HAS NEED OF A SKILLED MEDICAL OFFICER. THE CHIEF OF MEDICAL IS EXPECTED TO MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS

  • Licensure and board certification as M.D. within the Romulan Republic is required.
  • Rank of Lieutenant or higher required.
  • Experience serving as medical officer aboard starships and/or space stations is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding of both Romulan, Reman, and Alien physiology is required
  • Expected to conduct biannual medical examinations of all enlist and ranking officers.
  • Ability to administer care during engagements with enemies is required.
