Firstly may I just apologise for not making formal introductions the other evening during both of our visits to the Event Horizon lounge, my mind was on a mug of tea and nothing else at that point in the day.
The reason for this message is because part of my responsibilities within the 38th Fleet is ensuring all new personnel are having as smooth a transition into the 38th’s operating theatre as possible.
Time permitting I’d like to schedule a small get-together, a catchup of sorts, in the coming weeks to run through some finalities within your transfer; though more importantly, this will just give us an opportunity to become more acquainted with one another. It will also provide an opportunity for us both to discuss any further inquiries or reservations you might have on an upcoming assignment.
