Other crewmembers are listed in attachments along with the ship’s manifest.

The ship had just left Adjaellia Prime, with a shipment of various minerals and mining waste, which deposited at the Paro Resa Processing Station.

  1. At Stardate100680.0 the first causality was discovered by Chief Engineer Anderson.
…a. The first crewmember in question, CA Wind-People was torn into through her armored EVA suit, and left partially digested.
…b. Meg Wind-People was newly hired, and had been assigned to flush and purge a holding tank for unprocessed mining waste.
…c. The acidic fluid that partially digested her, caused her her cells to die off even if not affected directly by the acid.
…d. As per her will, her ballistospores were to be collected but none were present.
  2. At Stardate100680.1, Starfleet, DS 13, received a distress signal via commercial sub-space channels from the heavy ore freighter, SS Ontagwa Sun, regarding a possible unidentified and unauthorized subject that had killed a crew member. As of this writing 4 have been killed.
  3. Auxiliary EPS is damaged, assumption is by the creature in question. Lights are automatically shutoff to preserve power for the warp core magnetic field.
  4. The next casualty, PO2 Ta’Gar, occurred on 100680.2 was a cargo handler who, apparently “torn off his shirt” and directly challenged the creature to fight bare-handed in order to allow others in the cargo bay time to escape. This was after a crewmember sterilizing cargo PO3 Deitrick, with a flame-thrower, encountered the creature, and attempted without success to burn it.
…a. Reports are scarce and possibly exaggerated, but witness claim PO2 Ta’Gar had “body slammed” the creature and then had it in a wrestling hold.
…b. subsequent reconnaissance discovered his remains strewn across the cargo bay.
…c. the acidic substance found on Wind-People was not present on any of PO2 Ta’Gar remains.
…d. it is reported that PO2 Ta’Gar’s sacrifice save 5 other crewmembers.
…c. witness statements conflict over what the creature looked like with some saying it was a Gorharran slugbear, and some claiming it was a Terran lowland gorilla.
  5. At 100680.21, Captain Bulloch ordered all crew to the bridge immediately, while CSO Quatta, FM Gibick, PO2 Means, PO3 Harrison, and PO3 Lassane proceeded to the security office to check scans and camera images, at the central security system station. The design of this ship only permitted in depth viewing at the Security office.
…a. At 100680.22 The party encountered what they describe as a large, possibly grey, mass, with six clawed legs, an eyeless face, a snout from which tendrils that undulated, and as per Captain Bulloch “it was as large as a rhino at a zoo”. This places the approximate size of the creature at 3+/- Meters in length.
…b. The party began firing at the creature with a Type II Phasor, a disruptor pistol of Klingon make, a civilian issue Plasma rifle, all of which had no noticeable effect. The creature grabbed CSO Quatto, ripping his right arm off. PO2 Means then intervened, which allowed Capt Bulloch, FM Gibick, PO3 Lassane, and PO3 Harrison to pull CSO Quatta to safety.
…c. Harrison received lacerations to his left side and arm.
…d. PO2 Means, however, had been ripped in half longitudinally.
…e. The Security computer core was damaged in the melee.
…f. the creature pursued the survivors, destroying two 10cm blast doors in the process, but seemed to lose interest after a third blast door was in its path.
…1. the blast door in question almost did not close and did so with a high pitched whistling noise.
…g. the survivors made there way to the bridge where the Capt ordered all to stay put until rescue arrived.
  6. At 100680.75 FM Gibick disobeys this order as Dr O’Tar is in need of supplies to treat CSO Quatta and PO3 Harrison.
…a. As per Dr O’Tar, Gibick made this decision on his own as the doctor had what he needed to stabilize all three wounded crewmembers including CSO Quatta. FM Gibick disagreed.
…b. At 100680.8 FM The loud yells of FM Gibick in the form of screams mixed with offensive insults directed at the creature were heard from down the darkened hallway. Within a few seconds, nothing more is heard.
  7. At 100681.0 FM a sitrep call to the USS Dragon was been placed.
  8. All wounded, along with Dr O’Tar are transported to a containment field inside the USS Dragon’s Medical Bay. The remaining crew except for the captain are transported to a containment field in Cargo Bay One.
