Hope you are well. I am reaching out to you in regards to LCDR (DR) Evelynn Wescott. The Midway has been fortunate enough to have her accompany us as a guest physician on two deployments now, and I would like to request her service as our full time ship’s doctor. Our current doctor, LCDR (DR) T’Lera is planning on transferring back to Vulcan, and as such would leave us without a qualified doctor. I do believe Dr. Wescott would be amicable of this transfer.

I suppose I appreciate the courtesy memo, Captain, although if the doctor would like to transfer she should be making the request herself, not you on her behalf. ‘Believing’ an officer would be ‘amicable’ is insufficient grounds to approve a transfer.
Nonetheless, I’ll assume you have spoken to her regarding the matter already. Provided she confirms her intentions with me I don’t see any reason to refuse, aside from being sorry to see her go. I’m sure she’ll be a great asset to your staff.
