Commander,
I am writing to request a transfer to the U.S.S. Mariner as I have become aware of openings in it’s medical department during a talk with Lieutenant Commander Zital.
I came to this station after a rather stagnant period of time in my professional life and am grateful for all I have learned in my time here these past months. I hope to be able to put the new skills I’ve picked up in my time here to great use, with your blessing of course, as I believe I am ready for this new challenge.
