Ensign Mara,
I have been instructed by the Admiral to reach out to you for actionable intelligence on the previously reported outside interference in the Krekt System, evidenced by advanced technologies from other powers, including the Federation, finding their way there.
I have been assigned to facilitate the talks between these powers in the near future, and I would like to investigate this issue beforehand if possible with an eye towards stopping it. It at least appears as though someone, possibly elements within the Klingon Empire, are seeking to harm relations between the Federation, and one or both powers in the Krekt System. I think we can agree that helping the parties reach an accord will be easier without interference.
As you have apparently been looking into this already, I would greatly appreciate whatever assistance you can provide.

Hi Captain,
I remember looking into this; the report is attached below.
Looked into Voreth; a Klingon-Trill if you’d believe. Owns a couple of bars in the Empire. Sometimes seen in Fed Space.
Bot Milz is ex Fed Civvie, migrated to Mekt after the Right to Return law. He applied for the Academy in 2478, but failed. Launched a singles rap career after that; don’t know if you’ve heard of the songs HoBuS re-BORN or Swallowing Targs, but he’s the one who sang those under the stage name MILZZZ.
He was known to socialise with Nuzoth Independence movements after the Iconian War. Don’t know what he did after his return to Nuzoth, but appeared again after the 2419 March ceasefire.
I can look into getting us disguised as a merchant ship to complete a run if we want insider information. I don’t know much time we have, but we may be able to make our way up the chain in roughly three to six months. Obviously, the higher up we are, the more information we’ll be able to get easily.
Let me know!
Best,

Ensign,
I don’t get the impression from the Admiral that we have 3-6 months before trying to resolve negotiations between the two factions, but I would like to see what we can accomplish before then.
If you can get us the current or last-known locations and such of Voreth and Bot Milz, as well as recommendations on how best to approach them, that would be helpful. I’m not opposed to disguising the Dragon, or another ship as a merchant ship for furthering our goals of figuring out who is behind this, but as I said, I don’t think we have 3-6 months to do it in. Are we likely to discover much there in one or two rendezvous?
