You are requested and required to relinquish your position as Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Forrestal effective stardate 100898.6 and assume command of the U.S.S. Sitka effective stardate 100902.1.

You are to relieve the current Commanding Officer, Captain Layton McDowell, and conduct all customary procedures for the formal transfer of command.

You are required to report your assumption of command by replying to this message and ensure that the ship’s operational readiness is confirmed within 24 hours of assuming command.

You are granted a day of leave to allow your items to be transferred to your new posting.
