It is nothing particularly dramatic, to be clear. Commander Pohl was previously assigned to the starbase medical department and I consider him a colleague. We additionally both worked together as department heads of our respective offices for nearly a year.

While I’m comfortable with the possibility of needing to do further professional or patient work with him in the future, I would simply prefer not to be the first check in his return to service, even if only for appearance’s sake.
