Subj: Forrestal Transfer
Admiral,
At the composition of this message, the majority of Midway crew have completed their transfer to the USS Forrestal and we are preparing to get underway within the next few days. Currently we are awaiting the arrival of Carrier Wing 10 and their compliment of Peregrines, Valkyries and support shuttles. Once arrived, the wing will proceed with standard SFTOPS (Starship to Fighter Training and Operating Procedures Standardization) and carrier qualifications for this vessel. I estimate we will be mission ready within a week and a half at most. Once complete, I will submit the ship for fleet inspection. Attached is our embarked crew compliment for record keeping.
