Subj: Recreational Safety
Captain Vel has authorized me to inform the crew as the Midway’s custodian of recreational areas in addition to my duties as Chief Engineer aboard the ship. While we are at Deep Space 13, we will be taking on supplies, including the installation of a pool/billiards table in the mess hall. As such, I want to iterate the importance of safety protocols aboard the ship, specifically those in such areas. When the table is not in use, please make sure all play materials are secure. While the ship’s artificial gravity will do most of the work, there’s nothing to stop one impact or the occasional occurrence of turbulence from causing a hazard.
