The U.S.S. Jeade’en (NCC-97680) is the latest in the line of advanced long-range science vessels designed for deep space exploration and capable of being reporposed for long range scouting and recon in force missions. His armament making him more than capable of in self defense and skirmishes.
History
While a brand new ship fresh out of the production line, the name itself bares a long forgotten meaning and legacy. The name Jeade’en was originally the name of a loyal and sturdy horse for a long-forgotten explorer and adventurer that has crossed many borders and seen many a strange thing.
The name itself roughly translates to “True Finder” in the old tongue. It was said that no matter where you are or how lost you are, you can always rely on Jeade’en to find your way back onto the path.
Many, many years later, one of the Deadlus class vessels in the late 22nd century bore this name with pride and went out to explore the vast unknown. She was declared lost after having lost contact and many years later, eventually found her way home with all her original crew.

Technical and Crew Specifications
Thanks to the latest iteration of third generation bio-neural gel packs, the is vessel is largly automated cutting down significantly on crew requirements, as such the Jeade’en only has a crew of 150, with 10 additional embarked MACOs for additional security.
The Jeade’en, like his sister ships, is equipped with the most sefisticated sensors suits and propulsion systems to enable long range and long term exploration. He is powered by a state of the art D’Shalla Industries Class 12 M/ARC Warp Core. Sublight includes two HeliosCorp Hyper Impulse Engines (Mod 32b) for fast maneuvering in any spacial or atmospheric conditions. Finally, he he equipped with the latest Rigel Labs X06 Quantum Slipstream Field Projector enabling the vessel to travel great distances in short bursts.
Defenses has also been upgraded with this latest production run with the newest version of the Heimdall Industries PF04/A Resonating Deflector Array. While the hull is standard with a Duranium/Tritanium mix, it does include areas reinforced with Neutronium alloy. All this can be further supplemented with Ablative Generators.
His sensor systems includes 14 Omniwave Passive Sensor Matrices and 20 DYN-90 Multi-Band Linear Sensor Suites. Each sensor palette may be dedicated to a specific task, allowing for multiple studies to be performed simultaneously while the ship’s Tactical department continues to keep a watchful eye out for the safety of the ship and crew.
While the bridge layout is standard among the pathfinder class, the Jeade’enis rather unique in that the bridge also has a natural wooden mast installed on the bridge by request of his captain, to better connect with more ancient naval traditions.
Additionally the Jeade’en, like similar ships of his class, is capable of planetary flight and landing.
Module Mission Bays
The class features two modular mission bays located on the ventral hull under the shuttlebay which are approximately three decks high. Modules installed in these bays can interface with all ship systems, including life support and the main computer. These bays afford bulky components the protection of the hull and without compromising the ship’s subspace fields and quantum slipstream. A variety of modules exist, with many being replicated and installed as a mission demands. Other, more sensitive modules are built at a starbase and installed while preparing the ship for specific missions.
The Following modules are available for a quick swap with minimum work needed from any ship maintenance equipped starbase:

Tactical Module: Capable of integrating with ship’s sensors and communications arrays. This module features a suit of holographic display consoles and combat analysis programs to better fleet level coordination and support.

Science Module: Capable of integrating with ship’s sensors and computer systems. This module features a suit of mineral, biological, and archeological analyzation compartments and programs to include a magnetically seal quarantine chamber to handle sensitive and hazardous samples. These includes a wide variety of tools for scientific exploration and experimentation, supplementing the ship’s already impressive science labs.

Engineering Module: This module contains a full size industrial replicator and a wide range of tools to enable maintenance of repair of not only the ship but other ship’s in a small task force.

Medical Module: This module contains its own power source and contains facilities and supplies to provide in depth emergency medical treatment and is capable of house up 100 additional patients. This module includes three surgical rooms, a quarantine bay, and several consoles specialized in xenobiology.

Runabout Service/Launch Module: This module can dock and service one runabout shuttlecraft and hold two additional runabout size mission modules which is capable of swapping out in the bay.

Berthing Module: Contains extra living space for an additional 200 personnel.

Extended Cargo Bay Module: Provides additional space for any sort of cargo transport needs, can also store additional supplies for extended duration missions.
The Jeade’en is currently equipped with a Runabout service/launch module with a danube-class runabout and a Science Module. Additional modules will need to be replicated and swapped out at the Starbase vessel maintenance yard.
