U.S.S Tycho (NCC-72518)

U.S.S. Tycho

The U.S.S. Tycho (Pathfinder Class) was constructed in 2410 as part of the latest class of long range exploration ships. It began its service as part of Operation Delta Rising, only narrowly surviving the Undine assault upon Earth Spacedock where construction on the Tycho was wrapping up. Helping to chart the star systems around the Jenolan Dyson Sphere in the early days of the Operation, the Tycho serves as an exploration vessel first and foremost, featuring highly advanced laboratories and many science professionals along with powerful sensor arrays.
Nevertheless, the ship is equipped with powerful defenses, featuring advanced armor and a multitude of phaser arrays to protect itself from attackers, and it has served in battles in both the Delta and Alpha Quadrants during the many crises that engulfed it in recent history.
