It has been in service since it was made in Earth spacedock upon declassification. The USS Katarn has been an asset that has been with the federation for a rough short period on the 24th Century It's been In and out of escort missions and Battle that would take place from either pirates or previous conflicts. Now Since the Retirement of Captain Katarn. A New captain takes the command chair. Now the USS Katarn Is under the 38th Fleet argo refitted and ready for Missions to begin!
