Service History:
Commissioned as part of the Tribal Series (from the original Tribal Class ships), the Zulu was launched in 2417 alongside her sister ships, the USS Ashanti (NCC 97751), USS Eskimo (NCC 97750), USS Nubian (NCC 97752), and USS Mohawk (NCC 97753).
She was given to Commander Phoenix after a recommendation from the Captain of the USS Normandy.
