The U.S.S. Reyga responds to a distress call from a civilian ship claiming to be stuck in a local, clearly marked radiation belt. To absolutely nobody’s surprise, a Ferengi privateer lies in wait, waiting to unleash a not-so-clever ambush upon its Federation “rescuer.” The trap unfortunately malfunctions, threatening the imminent destruction of the Ferengi vessel. The Reyga crew are left with a dangerous choice and very little time to act.
