Over half a year after the Terran invasion of the Itrin Sector, many areas are still reeling from the chaos and devastation. The Confederacy of Azed, the Federation’s neighbor and occasional nemesis, has been fractured and fragmented.
In lieu of a centralized authority the Federation has been interacting, peacefully no less, with the individual Azedi worlds. A diplomatic relationship has been established with the Viggo, who are attempting to reform the Confederacy, and separate trade/relief agreements have been negotiated with both the Kacam and the Ralin. There have been no open hostilities reported as of yet.
Starfleet’s Task Force Peacecraft has been hard at work providing security and relief, slowly improving the Federation’s standing in the eyes of the locals who may not know the difference between Federation Starfleet and Terran Imperial Starfleet. Perhaps it is this buildup of goodwill that has led the Azedi world of Citali to transmit a message inviting the Federation for a visit.
