I want to make a snarky comment about using 1970's Batman tech instead of using Spock's boots from ST:V... but I've been critical of Exp2 enough as it is before it has even come out.

Plus I'm pretty sure stating that ST:V had a better idea than Exp2 is unnecessary roughness.

Grappling Gun
Well... seeing that the current elite is going to become advanced and a new harder elite take its place... Id say the current endgame is being scrapped for a new harder one.

New Galaxy map, not to mention a map of exactly where what is in the galaxy (see: the upper left side.)
Oh, that is nice a nice graphic. Probably the first thing I have seen for DR that I have immediately disliked. I especially like the graphic in the upper left. Awesome.

Someone needs to do a deep space expedition to.... the galactic core! O.o

Ew, why? There's nothing there but a planet of giant, disembodied old man heads.

They should have just made a new map rather than tack on the delta quadrant on top. Well, at least we know we're getting six new sectors to transwarp through ;-)
Intel boff specialists
Ya this whole T6 specialty Bridge Officer thing is gonna be... Interesting
Surprise surprise....Delta Alliance Rep

Kobali adventure zone
After watching the live stream... can't wait for the weapon models.
So... the Kobali. Does this mean we have space zombies as well as space dinosaurs?

Game, you make me happy.

T6 Intel ship designs
See, I don't mind these designs. I think the initial screenshots did not capture their best angles. More advanced Defiant design? Cool. More angular Prometheus? Okay. That other one? ...uh, sure, whatever. That said, I see they're bringing back an element of Questionable Cryptic Ship Design Elements that hasn't really been utilized since launch: putting unnecessary holes in it. Srsly, what's up with that.

Ya the Eclipse looks interesting to me. Along with that defiant-ish one. It will be interesting to find out how these ships end up performing.

Also, the release date is set for October 14th.
That explains they insatiable desire to punch someone I've had all day.
