ZENAS PRIVATEERS
Zenas Privateers is a KDF roleplay fleet on Star Trek Online (STO), and the KDF-faction counterpart to 38th Fleet ‘Argo’. Our mission is to provide a fun and engaging roleplay environment for our members and any other roleplayers we encounter. While our story may occasionally cross over with Argo’s, ZP will be largely independent, with its own setting and development.
Our fleet accepts a wide range of character types. The primary RP setting is Starbase 151, the headquarters of KDF Task Force Hurq Mevik as well as Romulan Republic forces in the area. Our location in the Zenas Expanse, far from the heart of Klingon Empire, is also perfect for incorporating various mercenaries, privateers, and civilian-types.

THEMES
The Frontier
The Zenas Expanse is mostly unknown territory, filled with unexplored wonders and lurking dangers (sometimes both at the same time). Our task force will be challenged by threats both known and unknown, and with large rebuilding efforts back at home, backup is not something that can be relied upon. The frontier is a place that makes or breaks people, a perfect place for a warrior, explorer or mercenary to earn glory, fame and fortune.
Foreign Legion
Our task force’s name, Hurq Mevik or Outsider’s Blade, suggests that the task force is amalgamation of many species now part of or allied with the Klingon Empire. Many KDF officers are non-Klingon, and the task force often employs mercenaries and works with the Romulan Republic. Whether this is a deliberate plan by High Command to test how such a diverse group operates under almost constant stress, or just a convenient place to dump higher-ranking non-Klingon officers (or political opponents) far from the seat of power, Task Force Hurq Mevik remains quite a melting pot of species and cultures from all the sides of the Klingon Empire.
Might Makes Right
While the task force includes many non-Klingons, adherence to the core principles of the Klingon military doctrine and way of life is still demanded. Strength is power, respect must be earned and demanded, and honor must be upheld. Defend the weak, but only if they prove worthy in some way - altruism breeds complacency, complacency breeds weakness, and weakness is sin.

New players who are interested in joining Zenas Privateers should follow the regular Argo Recruitment process. Your application will be forwarded to the Zenas staff and handled accordingly.
