Rumor has it that Nethali Aster has been disturbingly well behaved and indoor-voice lately-- the lack of disruption is unnerving the crew of the D'Ishae more than her usual pranks did. One speculation as to why she's been so demure is that the flight crew pooled to pay Tirian enough to keep her doped up.

Some crewmembers of the USS Heimdall have brought new rumors about captain S'ill to DS13 during theire downtime on station.
Apperantly the captain has been seen aquering some strange items, specificly baking ingedients, wool in several different colors and two knitting needles. Rumor is these items are somehow linked to the holiday exchange.
Another popular rumor is that the captain has probably started to develop a winter fur since she is leaving way more hairs on her usual seat in the Heimdalls mess hall than normal.

Ensign Balash got message from Ensign Bowden on the USS Munin. It seems the Munin is being given to a different command and that Commander Lahn has been reassigned.
Rumor has it that Nethali Aster entered a verbal altercation with a DS13 transporter officer when he refused to beam her 'blunt metal weapon' aboard. He remained stoic in his decision despite a nearby enthusiast's explanation that it was a 'baseball bat', an item used in archiac Earth sports, for which Aster would need the station's holodeck.

There's a bizarre rumor going around regarding Captain Buchanan- that he wasn't actually born in the traditional sense. Rather, he "simply emerged from the scotch."
This is, of course, idiotic, but still, somehow, the rumor persists among the Starbase's residents. The source of the rumor seems to have been Jack's first officer, Tessa Nakimura, who, when asked, insists that she heard it "from a frog".

Several camps have arisen in regards to the identity of Siras Urjabhi Jacob Io Brandy McMorrow's paternal progenitor.
One camp insists that it's obvious: Dawsons McCarthy was there at the birth.
Another claims that McCarthy was simply a good friend, available at the time. After all, it was the recently injured James Kermit who moved into the mother and child's private sickbay room, and he was at the birth, too.
Yet a third insists on something far more scandalous- Davin Mandukar. Why else did he have the human on the D'Ishae? Sure, he'd visited two days after the birth, but he'd looked particularly harrowed and unslept- as if he'd been worried sick while forced to stay away from his illicit lover's side.
..then again, Oliver Blackwood is said to have the child's name- all 38 characters of it- inscribed on his back.

Rumor has it that Centurion t'Veras was seen on the engineering level carrying a nondescript delivery box. When asked what she was looking for, she said, "an incinerator." When she was told by an ensign that she could just use the energy-conversion feature of the industrial replicator, she was said to mutter, "not good enough, not good enough at all," and left back for the habitat ring.

Several of DS13's newest visitors were seen last night in the common area of the Starbase. Captain Astoreth of the Coalition ship Kalvania was noted talking the captain of the Gjitocken, Geida. The latter seemed to be quite heated over something, while Astoreth listened and seemed to react very little to Geida's aggressiveness. Though most of their conversation was kept private, rumor has it they were discussing the recent allegations of spying brought forth by the Benthans. The discussion ended with Geida returning to her ship. To date, most of Geida's time has been spent aboard her ship rather then interacting with their Federation hosts since the convoy's arrival a week prior:
Official Log of the Coalition Convoy's Rescue from the Elachi
On another note, repair teams that have been working on the Gjitocken note its strange construction using something closer to stone for its hull rather then metal. Its also been noted that the Gjitocken is vastly different in its design as well as functional systems then the Extravia or Kalvania. Many of the base technicians assigned to help with repairs have been discussing the possibility that Coalition ships may vary greatly between species, as well as bringing up question of the Gjitocken's crew being a different species then the Sirans found on the Extravia and Kalvania.
While the Coalition races look similar to humans, it has been noted that families serve aboard all three vessels and in some cases the adult children appear very close in age to their parents.

New rumors swirl about the young baby Brandy's parentage, following confirmation that the lad's name, is, in fact, tattooed on Oliver Blackwood's back- a revelation that was swiftly followed by a kiss afterward. On the other hand, some say the baby is half-reman; apparently Ms. Aster was seen planting a kiss on one in the Embassy's lounge.

Rumor also has it, that said epohh 'mysteriously' vanished from The Box following an as-yet-unexplained flash of green light.

The pet was seemingly interested in the laserlight that is emenating from her oculus implant.
A nurse also mentioned that the ensuing scratches on the captains face are not going to be permanent.
