I have an unverified theory for you. As you can see from the attached AARs, we’ve noticed animals avoid the crystalline structure, but for some reason, on the station, the insects are drawn to it and are somewhat sedentary; that’s how we got to the structure the first time round.
Perhaps controlling these insects lies with this structure? Or perhaps the structure is using the insects to protect itself?
