Captain Nimitz,
We will run the plan as discussed. You will catch the scout ship at the location furthest away from the Pass, using the other members of Aries to delay any Voth reinforcements. I have laid out how I plan to deploy the Aries ships; you are free to move and redeploy any ships as necessary. You will have to contact them directly to get them in place.
You will engage the Voth ship with a task force of assembled ships that you have cleared with me first. A trained team, led by Captain Varerus, will beam over to the Voth ship, with luck, before they are able to get their shields up. Captain Varerus, your team will beam over in two places; the bridge and the computer core. The team on the bridge will attempt to capture the bridge, whilst the team going for the computer core will attempt to download the “key”. Both groups will work simultaneously to achieve their objectives. To achieve this, I have linked the necessary intelligence communications for you. Captain Varerus, I wish for you to run extensive training in order to get the away team that will be selected up to speed. You should be able to navigate that Voth ship blindfolded before you even step foot on the real thing.
Captain Nimitz is the operational lead for this, and he has full control over this engagement.
I expect nothing short of success.
