Captain,
Following a review of the attached report, you are hereby directed to coordinate arrangements for the drydocking of the U.S.S. Mariner without delay.
Engage directly with Captain Varley and the station’s Chief Engineer to ensure all preparations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with operational standards. Given the anticipated duration of repairs detailed in the report, a full crew complement must be retained aboard the vessel wherever practicable, maintaining a state of operational readiness for immediate redeployment if required. You and your senior staff are to exercise close oversight of both shipboard operations and the progress of the repair work, to ensure all tasks are conducted to satisfactory standards.
