Greetings, Captain Kermit.

On behalf of the Daystrom Institute, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to you and the USS Reyga for agreeing to assist in transporting our personnel to the Eternal Gallery and Archive. We are truly grateful for your willingness to undertake this mission on our behalf.

As you are already aware, the mission’s objective is to return a number of previously borrowed materials from the Eternal Gallery and Archive, as well as to formally requisition newly requested items on behalf of the Institute. Through Daystrom’s and Starfleet’s collective efforts, we have been able to determine that the Archive is currently located in the depths of an ice giant planet in the Rheic System. While the journey to the center of the planet will not be without hazard, we are confident it will be a manageable task for the Reyga and your capable crew.

Due to our possession of a genuine Archive library card (Dr J’nar Allek will provide this upon your rendezvous), our scientists and any guests from the Reyga who would like to visit will be welcome to transport into the Archive upon arrival. We anticipate our personnel will need roughly 3-4 days to complete their duties, during which the team will complete their work of returning the materials and gathering the requested items. For minimal disruption, it is expected that the Reyga will remain attached to the station for the duration, assisting the team as needed, before returning them and their materials back to Daystrom upon completion.

In the enclosed attachment, please find a brief overview of the scientists you are transporting, as well as the complete manifest of borrowed items that must be returned to the Gallery and the items you will be expected to carry on your return. Once again, we thank you for your invaluable support. We look forward to the successful completion of this academic endeavor and the continued collaboration between the Daystrom Institute and Starfleet.
