How often does the ship visit the starbase?
Infrequently. The Endeavour is designed to be on long missions, away from base for a long time. This is reflected in RP. If in doubt, assume the Endeavour is not in orbit around the base. -
Non-ship RP allowed while ship is not in port?
Yes. Whilst the Endeavour is away from base, there is no restriction on characters RPing on the base or elsewhere. -
Players allowed to use ship without Captain online?
Yes, I would just ask that you let me know in advance. Lower Decks RP is free for anyone to host. -
Timewarping?
I do allow for timewarping when needed. -
Why are all the senior officers NPCs?
I have made a decision to block all senior positions on the Endeavour. Firstly, it differentiates it from other ships who have senior officer positions open. The aim of the ship is to look below the bridge, at the lives of the many people who make the ship run. Having senior officers can often make that more difficult. Secondly, by retaining control of the senior officers, I can push plots and events through without having to wait for others. If you have a burning desire to play a senior officer, I can look at exceptions, but generally, this is a hard rule.
