Operation Lightning

To: All 38'th Fleet Argo Ship Commands

From: Captain Quint, USS Paladin

Subject: Lightning Response Squadron

This message has been sent to locate personnel willing to take the enemy head on. The Iconian forces have pressed us in every engagement and our victories have been paid for dearly. It is time to find a way to counter this and rock them on their heels. To that end I have been given authorization to begin assembling fast attack groups that will allow us to regain the offensive.

I am requesting any Officers who feel their ship would be of use to this operation please reply and advise ship and class. This operation will function in a three prong system to locate, isolate, and destroy Iconian forces. I wont lie, this will be a dangerous team to be on, but it will be an active way to give us a fighting chance in this war.

Once enough ships are volunteered we will being tactical meetings to explain and adjust this system. Testing will utilize some existing simulations on the holodeck as well as some table top discussions to help sort out any issues. If you are willing, I look forward to working with you in this.

Captain Quint,
I formally request to be a part of your lightning response squadron.
I believe the firestorm will be a excellent addition to it since it was primarily build as a warship.

You may rely on the Anarhai and her crew as part of this plan. Anarhai is a T'varo Light Warbird escort. Quick and nimble, it is meant to support larger ships and apply surgical strikes to the enemy.

I've heard murmurs of a plan you're putting together in regards to a sort of Fast Attack Squadron. If you need some help getting it off the ground, check the archives for some old training programs I had put together a few years back. You should be able to find them under the header "TFACT".

If you like what you see, I can start working on getting the first few lessons up to date with current technology and tactics for both our ships, and some of our new enemies.

With the Iconian threat, having a quick response force is a vital counter to their tactics. I look forward to hearing from you.

As you may know my ship was recently destroyed by the heralds but i have been issued a new one. While the Nei'rhh is currently in the prototype stage i think it will be perfect for this operation.
Sadly i haven't been authorized to share any of its specifications at this point but you will likely find the ship very interesting and capable.
I would like the opportunity to join this initiative upon my return.
