Following the success of the U.S.S. Reyga’s mission to destroy an Imperial Romulan Navy resupply convoy, the supply depot at NGC-1716 has been abandoned by the Romulans in fear of another destructive solar event. A week later, after constant distress calls, it would appear that they have no intention of returning to retrieve the remaining crew. The Mariner responds, hoping to prevent starvation, treat any wounded, and hopefully, secure a substantial supply of neodymium for deflector dish manufacturing.
