Commodore Nimitz!
We have just returned from our extended mission in the region known as Luwiyan Star Cluster. The cluster is inhabited by an off-shot of Humans who were transported there some 5000 standard Earth years ago by a faction of beings who are related to Apollo of Pollux IV. I have previously consulted you and Commander Sedai on the matter how to approach them.
To make long story a bit shorter, in our official First Contact (present also were Captains Timoreev, Tungsten and Grant) we were caught in a position between two factions where one member of higher echelon of this society wanted to harm his counterparts in the social structure of Luwiyan Commonwealth. In order to prevent this, I released all information regarding our contact with Luwiyans into the Commonwealth public information network without prior consultation with executive or legislative branch of the Commonwealth’s political system.
While the higher echelon decided to take blame, I believe my actions fall under violation of Starfleet General Order One. Therefore, I am willingly submitting myself to a review and investigation of this case.
